A Work of Art

I wandered off course in the new Union Station and got a bit lost.  But look what I found!

Wonderful design and craftsmanship.  A work of art. 
It can only be another creation of the Liberty Entertainment Group.  But what a creation!

Start with the name of the dining room craved into the stone.
Beautiful. And so evocative of the main courses.

There is so much in the below image.  The ceiling, walls and floor of grained stone.
The inlaid carpet adding colour but so calming.
The walls with the tiered layers of stone.
I deliberately aimed the camera straight on to the right side so you could see the tiering up and down.
The door. Go to the web site. The ceiling and windows are also this design.  Someday I’ll go by when it is open.

At home I consulted the internet.  Yes, the designer is Nadia Di Donato.
